It's no secret that a strong social media presence can vastly improve your brand awareness and customer base.

Having a good website is of course great and legitimises a business/organisation, but today's potential customers are more likely to engage with you on social media first.

It's important to have someone keep on top of all messages and enquiries made on your social media, but also finding the right person to keep all platforms engaging, consistent and on brand. What once was a simple job of uploading the occasional photo to facebook (or bebo if you are as old as me) is now a bit more complex.

Facebook, instagram, twitter, tiktok and snapchat are just some of the different platforms out there to consider, but it all depends on your target audience. Different platforms are generally aimed at different demographics.

Once you know what platforms suit your needs best, you then have to think  how to engage best with that audience. Videos for instance create more engagement than photos. You may want to design an advert to post, but have to be careful how much text is in the design otherwise you'll lose the interest of your audience.

You may then want to think about how your posts look collectively on your feed. You may want your posts to look uniformed or perhaps a healthy colourful variety of visuals on there. You may want to look at the right hashtags for each post or even involve influencers to attract new followers.

I have experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite and utilise my multimedia skills to create engaging quality content.

I have worked with numerous influencers and have experience strategically scheduling paid/sponsored ads and posts.

My past social media successes include creating engaging organic posts with views of over 300,000 resulting in thousands of new followers.
